Conehead are delighted to announce that the long-awaited debut album by Stacey Solomon ‘Shy’ will be released on 20th April 2015. The first single from the album contributed by Rita Ora also entitled ‘Shy’ will also be released on the 20th April. As well as Rita Ora, the 11-track album features a contribution from Lily Allen, but much of the material has been written by Stacey herself. Stacey had always wanted to develop her skills as a writer and a singer further and create something more genuine - on her own terms - to truly reflect her personality and her true musical talent and artistic style. The past 3 years has been leading up to the release of ‘Shy’ and Stacey is truly excited. “I’ve had the opportunity to do some amazing things over the past few years, and I’m so grateful, but first and foremost I’m a singer. This album may have been a long time coming but I love it!”

‘Alvin’, the final album by Alvin Stardust, and his first in thirty years was released on the 27th October 2014. The album was issued posthumously and is a worthy testament to a talent that endured, and a reputation that will continue even after his death on 23rd October 2014. This is a collection reflecting a maturing performer, at home with the nuances of that remarkable voice. It’s a reflective, speculative and deeply personal album that beguiles with an open honesty that recalls the best of the singer-songwriter genre.

Born Bernard William Jewry, he found fame initially as 'Shane Fenton', performing as Shane Fenton & The Fentones in the early 60s. After their break-up he continued to perform and work in the entertainment industry before returning as Alvin Stardust. Scoring a hit in 1973 with My Coo Ca Choo, Alvin Stardust became a household name and continued to perform up until the very last weeks of his life. He enjoyed a series of hit singles and also worked extensively in theatre, with roles in Godspell, David Copperfield and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

His manager Andy Davies said, "Alvin and I had only started working together over the last couple of years because he and I believed that musically he still had a great deal to give and explore and so we recorded an album that is a testament to an artist who gave his career to music. I may not have known him long but even in that short time he proved to be one of the most genuine and likeable men I've ever met; his passing is a huge and sad loss".
